In other news, aka Real Estate News: Mortgage rates are settling into a 7% zone, plus or minus. This is going to be the normal for years and years. That’s ok. Home sale prices are also settling down into a steady range. Buyers are only bidding much higher than the list price when a property is wildly under priced. Sellers are cautious to move unless they have a major need like relocation, family status change, estates ready to sell and lottery wins. Seriously, the supply of houses for sale is still very low.
