I have a few tidbits to share with you this month! First, a Portland Real Estate Market Forecast. Like all forecasts, this is optimistic and subject to be thrown out the window!

Based on pent up inventory and our local economy, the Portland market in 2026 is shaping up to be more balanced and predictable than the wild swings of the past decade. We are looking at some modest price gains, more choices for buyers, and a cautious but active pace overall. We are saying goodbye to 10% gains in equity year after year. We are saying a warm hello to staying in our homes for 5 or more years or turning our first home into a rental.

For my January Local Business Feature I am sharing a much needed resource. Artemis Divorce Coaching and the Divorce School for Women, a guide for women through one of life’s biggest transitions. In my experience, divorce and family changes are common and a regular part of life. I have recently become an RREC Divorce Specialist to best serve my clients! Save the date: Sunday March 29th for my Quarterly Cully Neighborhood Clean Up! I will provide hot coffee and donuts from Annie’s, as well as the clean up supplies. We meet at 9am and work for just 1 hour! I hope to see a bunch of you there, and it will be officially Spring by then!

Make sure to visit the many events and art installations of the Portland Winter Lights Festival, February 6-14th, 2026. This has already become an annual tradition for my family and friends.
